Hey guys, I will no longer be posting over here in blogspot. I just got my own domain and web hosting through a sponsorship program. My previous posting of Disneyland will end at here. no more post about my trip to HK, Shenzhen and Macau anymore. So my new blog will be clean from post that i haven;t finish over here.
So visit my new site at www.dannyooi.com . All are welcome
Quickly register yourself and play the game. All you need to do is answer few simple questions and win. There is a trick though, in order for you to answer the question, you need to get "travel visas" to go to different countries to answer their question. To get the travel visa, all you need is to invite friends to join this game. Thats simple. Trust me. Click the link/picture above to go to the website to play. Enjoy and I hope you win the Sony Vaio laptop.
I was thinking of getting my own domain, rather than with the blogspot tag hanging behind. I would like my domain name to end with myname.com rather than myname.blogspot.com. I've saw a few web hosting site, and mostly they offer you a domain and hosting site at a reasonable charges per year. Probably ranging from as low as RM50 to hundreds, depending on the quality, bandwith and etc.
I came across a domain and hosting sponsorship program on iCalvyn.com It is sponsorship program offered by iCalvyn.com and MyExHost.com. They are kind enough to give you a domain name, 1 GB hosting space, 10 GB of bandwidth and etc. Do check the offer out and for further details please visit the website at www.iCalvyn.com
Our great beloved friend and brother Daniel, came to KL last week to help his father out in moving stuffs from the old rented house to a new house. We met up in KL Sentral and then took a train to Bukit Bintang.
We decided to eat at Food & Tea Restaurant in Berjaya Times Square. It is like a copycat of Kim Gary. Maybe some of the dishes is different, I don't any idea though. I was like damn hunrgy that I could eat a horse. I ordered the cheese baked rice with beef while Aileen ordered butter chicken diced with rice, plus two lemon red tea to quench our thirst.

After that we went for some shopping in Sungei Wang. Sungei Wang is a famous place where you can see ah lian, ah beng, tu kau and "what ever" here. I'm not saying those "normal" people doesn't shop there though. Things are cheap here and have lots of varieties. All females, ranging from small kid to ah ma loves Sungei Wang.
Call me Mr. Cool
And then we went over to Nando's for some snacks and drinks. I ordered a bucket of Peri chips and a glass of apple juice.

Right after this, me and my darling went back and pack our stuffs and went straight up to Genting Highlands together with her sister and bf. Apparently she has two free rooms, courtesy of Standard Charted Bank.

Nothing much to do up there, beside gambling. Came down next morning and continue my boring life in Setapak again. Sigh!
Welcome to the World of Disney. It guess the Disneyland Hong Kong is like a replica of Disneyland USA. I compare the two, the landscape looks about the same except for certain area, superhero or cartoon figure.
1st Stop: Went to the city area of Disneyland, where they sells souvenirs, clothes, jewellery, and all sorts of nonsense at an exorbitant price.

The expensive Disneyland mug
2nd Stop: Adventureland, it is where all "exotic and jungle" like characters comes alive.
We woke up at another ungodly hour of 7am. Felt tired and all, but we need to brave ourselves through this tough day. We will going to Disneyland today and it will be a whole day affair. Had our breakfast at a restaurant. I'm not rich, as I've mention in my previous post that there is no such thing as food stall, hawker stall or mamak. All of them come in a package called "restaurant", whether it is big or small.
The best? Sure or not..
All I know is A, B, C, D, E, F
Macaroni with bread and egg
Soya bean milk
I tell you, this breakfast will last us till night time. We will not be eating lunch and dinner in Disneyland because it is too expensive to do so. To add salt to the injury, we are not allowed to bring in any food inside Disneyland. The guards at the entrance will check your bags to ensure you don't bring in any food.
To reach the Hong Kong Disneyland, we need to take a train to a *don't know what" station to interchange and hop into a Disney themed train.

Welcome to the gina-kia(small kids) world
We took a walk around before we enter the real Disneyland. We went and took a few shots after that we bought our tickets and went inside.

Annual pass for what..
Seriously, who needs an annual pass when the stuffs inside will be the same throughout the year. It will cost someone HK650 which quivalent to RM320. For me, just the one day pass is so damn expensive what more the annual pass. As you can see from the photo, the day pass is at HK350. It was saturday and so it is peak day. Wrong day to go.
In order for us to reach the hilltop, we need to take the tram. It is called "The Peak Tram". It was built decades ago by the British who ruled Hong Kong then. A British governor built a house on top of the hill to take advantage of the cooling air , and soon the wealthy fellows follow suit. The tram was built to help boost the visitor visits to the Peak and a hotel. Too bad the hotel was destroyed in a fire. That's a brief history of the Peak Tram.

At the peak there is a famous wax museum, the famous Madame Tussauds. It has wax of famous actors and celebrity. Even a Madonna is inside, I wonder what she have to make it. By the way, I didn't enter into the museum because it will cost me a freaking HK140 just to see the wax. Better see the candles at home.

At the peak, there is dining and sight seeing place for tourists and visitors as well. There is tower called "The Peak Tower" where you can view Hong Kong's skyscrapers and the landscape as well. Too bad, it was hazy on that day.
Let's go to the top

When we finish touring The Peak, we took the tram down and headed back to town and met with my friend's dad's friend. He treated all of us to a chinese restaurant nearby to our guest house. His name is Uncle Lam, and he is a HK police officer. At the restaurant, I've a tough time picking the right food to eat because the menu is in chinese. I need my friend's help to decipher the Code.
